Hello Everyone,
I hope everybody is
safe and well. I’d just like to say well done to everyone for their continued
hard work. I have outlined the weeks work below. It is similar to last week but
if there are any questions please message me on Seesaw and I will get back to
you asap. Ms Spain’s groups literacy work is outlined below the weeks classwork.
Again, I would
encourage you to look at the school website for extra activities that you could
do during the day. One of these is a competition to design a book cover for the
story: The Supermarket Ghost. Each class will have their own competition and
there will be prizes for the winners. You can access the book through the following

Over the week I would also like you to
write a story that is at least 3 pages long. The story must be inspired by one
of the pictures below. It is up to you which one you choose. Remember that a
story has an orientation (setting), complication (problem), resolution and a
conclusion. This should be submitted on Friday onto Seesaw.
Monday 27th
April
2. Maths: Do the following page into your copy
book. Read the information boxes before you begin.
3. Take 5 pictures of different 3-D shapes that
you can find around the house or in the garden.
4. Spellbound Unit 30 questions A and B
5. CJ Fallon has given access to their books
online for free. Please go to the following link

and read the chapter titled Duck’s Story. Then do questions 1-8 in the Tale and Detail section of page 38 in your
S.E.S.E copy. You may do any other questions from the book if you want. This is the Starry Links book from Starways series of the 5th class English section. You may need to login to view the book. I will post the
pages on Seesaw.
6. Earthlink: Pick a chapter of your choice, read
the 2 pages and do the questions in your SESE copy. Then do the corresponding
chapter in the Earthlink activity book.
